The Antiquary is located in St Stephen Street in Stockbridge.
Although it is only a fifteen minute walk from Edinburgh city centre the locals consider
"Stockaree" to be a village in it's own right. Stockbridge is named after the bridge which
crosses the Water of Leith which is nearby. The current bridge is made of stone masonry but was originally made of timber.
Although only a few metres in span it actually has its own street name, Kerr Street, and is regarded (locally, at least)
as the shortest Street in Edinburgh
